A lot of people ask me why I insist on drawing my comics traditionally; I fill in my blacks with inks, not the selection + paint bucket tool on Photoshop. I draw each crosshatch and lines for depth, rather than depending on the downloaded resources I have.
I admit, those high-res screentones can be gorgeous, that filling in the blacks with Photoshop would be so much quicker, easier and kinder to...
